PayStaff began as a payroll and benefits administration (PEO/ASO) company in 1994. The company has since grown substantially on it's own, and has made strategic acquisitions of other successful business process companies expanding it's services into offering the most comprehensive in the industry.
The first major expansion was to open a Western United States Division. Then came the acquisition of Intraforce, the high-tech flagship of the PEO industry, followed by the acquisition of Employer's Advantage and an exclusive agreement to provide PEO services to the world's largest franchise restaurant chain. In 2006, PayStaff partnered with TalentPro Inc., a full service recruiting and staffing firm. PayStaff will continue to make sensible strategic alignments to enhance the services and offerings it can provide to customers. In 2008, PayStaff became an integral part of a newly founded HR management organizatio, Astra HR. Astra HR offers a breadth of cusomizable services that range from human resources and employment administration, payroll processing, benefits management, and recruiting and staffing services to regulatory and government compliance, risk management and talent acquisition and performance management. Astra HR encompasses a full suite of HR solutions wrapped into four distinct companies; PayStaff, AstraStaff, AstraAdvantage and TalentPro.
PayStaff began with a staff of human resources and payroll experts. Each expansion increased the level of human resources management and IT consulting experience. The mergers were approached as stepping stones for the future in which everyone shared in the rewards of work well done. In each case, the experts in place elected to remain with PayStaff following the merger. As a result, the level of PROFESSIONAL expertise is unmatched throughout the industry.
