Incorporated in August 1999, OMNITEC is a technology services firm providing management, information technology, and technical solutions to commercial and government clients. OMNITEC began as a communications consulting firm providing telecommunications and networking advice to commercial clients. The company then expanded its repertoire to offer engineering, management services, and software development to the Federal Government and has an 8(a) classification.

When OMNITEC opened its business in 1999 Morris Brown, President had an aggressive goal of quickly expanding its service offering and staff in a relatively short amount of time. The organization needed to put a solid human resource infrastructure in place in order to expand at the desired rate.
